Core Aeration Service

Give Your Lawn Room to Breathe

As time passes, lawns naturally become compacted due to foot traffic, mowing, weather, and normal soil settling. Compacted soil restricts the movement of water, nutrients, and oxygen, making it harder for grass roots to grow and stay healthy.

Core aeration solves this problem by removing small plugs of soil from the lawn. This relieves soil compaction, helps reduce excess thatch, and opens pathways for air, water, and nutrients to reach the root system—encouraging stronger roots and healthier, more resilient grass.

What Core Aeration Does

• Improves water absorption
• Increases nutrient uptake
• Promotes deeper root growth
• Reduces thatch buildup
• Strengthens turf against heat and drought

By allowing the soil to “breathe,” your lawn becomes thicker, greener, and more resilient.

When Should You Aerate?

Core aeration is typically recommended once per year. This service is done in May. Because your lawn’s condition is unique, we evaluate each property individually — just like our 5-step fertilization program.
